Known as a family centric country club,
Crow Canyon Country Club has enjoyed a long history serving the residents of the San Ramon Valley in Northern California. Since its inception in 1977, the club has been committed to effective golf and tennis educational programs taught by highly seasoned professionals. With a variety of skill levels to contend with, the club has developed golf and tennis programs geared toward the different needs of its membership.In an effort to bolster a sagging interest in junior's tennis, the new Director of Junior Development envisioned a new program
of activities and events to create more excitement and fun for the youngest members of the club. To facilitate awarenes and generate interest for the improved program, informational posters and pocket brochures were needed to be posted and available around the club accessible to the adults as well as the kids. Given the limited budget to develop this material, the brochure and posters needed to be cost effective as well as professional looking.

The result is a series of small format, visually appealing, colorful posters printed on a large format ink-jet printer; and a tri-fold brochure which included program information, a schedule and a calendar, printed in-house on the pro shop's laser printer using brightly colored paper stock. The first poster for the Winter junior tennis program included all of the relevant information describing the new classes and event details so that members could understand the program at a glance. Due to the denseness of the information, a standard grid which could also be implemented across all future posters was developed. A signature headline style and typographic standards were also developed to promote consistency and recognition of the newly developed program. To further lend credibility to the new junior tennis program, each poster incorporated the Crow Canyon Country Club signature, a recognized and trusted symbol of the club's commitment to the growth of its membership through superior educational programs.

To say the least, the new junior tennis program was a stunning success.
